Founder and managing director
Thomas v. Pilar founded Flinkit in 2021 with the experience of over a decade of sales leadership and successful entrepreneurship. After working as a sales controller at Google and as a founder with an outstanding track record (company sale TopCheck 2017), he finally found an exciting challenge in industry.
As managing director of the Viessmann Group, he helped shape the most sensational transformation in German post-war history. He recognized early on that the change in customer communication to the chat interface, which has been taking place since 2017, offers tremendous opportunities for B2B sales. In 2020, WhatsApp then opened its interface, the initial spark for Flinkit.
Idea: Bind professional customers via WhatsApp
The idea was simple: professional customers prefer to write on WhatsApp anyway. Sales staff also often use the messenger when communicating with customers. Why not use the WhatsApp interface to send messages centrally directly to professional customers? The first messages sent achieved astonishingly high opening rates and led directly to measurable increased sales. Our customers discovered that the change from telephone to chat in customer contact also brings enormous advantages, especially for users at their desks.
A German Growth Story
Since then, the Flinkit solution has been able to write an impressive growth story. In 2024/2025, Flinkit will be the open secret of the leading sales decision-makers in B2B trade in Germany and beyond. Our headquarters are in Berlin. Founded during the Corona period, we rely on a remote-first culture with ambitious team members from nine countries. It is important to us to be a reliable partner for medium-sized companies and enterprises. Our core concern is to help our customers to use the full potential of transformation in customer contact for more sales and better customer loyalty.
